Here is the article that was in SunnmørspoAmnesty arrangerte konsertsten the 20 of April, after the youth group's events on Allaktivitetshuset:

Saturday held the new youth group for Amnesty in Ålesund a activity evening at the House of Røysegata. Concert, billiards and young engagement was on the agenda. A serious issue was the focus of the evening.

Anette Briskdal Large Eide, Marte Kroger Seberg and Heidi Domaas held an engaging presentation about Amnesty's action for freedom of speech on the Internet. They told how authoritarian regimes control the information that people can access through the web. The egyptian Karim Amer criticized Islam and President Mubarak of Egypt on a blog. Because of this he is in prison and will be abused. The objective of Amnesty's action is to obtain the release of Karim and three other online activists.

Those who had arrived in the House was urged to sign a claim addressed to the authority in the four countries where these online activists are imprisoned.

Jakomp, a talented band from Fagerlia music school, lined up to support the case. The audience clearly enjoyed both the music and the musicians involvement. In front of the stage, it was packed, and the Django-inspired jazz was a good contribution to empowerment.
