Amnesty Ålesund, and in particular our youth group, participated in the action to get the death verdict against the Iranian woman Delara Darabis not valid. Pressure in Iran and abroad has led to Iranian authorities to suspend executions for two months. The execution would take place 20.april, but was postponed in the last minute. In Norway, nearly 20,000 people signed the appeal to save the life of Delara.
